TAOF Food Drive
Nourishing Lives, One Meal at a Time.
The Issue

Nigeria faces a growing hunger crisis, with over 25 million people at risk of food insecurity, according to the World Food Programme (WFP, 2023). Rising inflation, unemployment, and conflict have exacerbated food shortages, leaving many families unable to afford basic meals.
Malnutrition remains a major concern, especially among children, with over 45% of Nigerian children under five suffering from stunted growth due to inadequate nutrition (UNICEF, 2023).

Our Approach:
The TAOF Food Drive is an ongoing initiative aimed at providing essential food supplies to vulnerable communities. Key aspects of the project include:
- Monthly food distribution in rural and low-income communities, ensuring families receive staple food items.
- Targeting Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), widows, elderly individuals, and orphaned children, ensuring they have access to consistent meals.
Since launching, the TAOF Food Drive has provided over 5,000 meals, directly impacting communities struggling with food insecurity. By continuously expanding our reach, we aim to fight hunger, reduce malnutrition, and restore dignity to those in need.
